I'll never call myself a poet. Although the tranquilizer prescriptions, holey jumpers and inability to hold down a job certainly hint towards a stereotype.

A lot of my songs start as poems. And it's often really clear in my mind whether something I've written will become a song or stay as spoken word in my own head. That said, you may find a line or two that have inspired a whole new tangent, theme, atmosphere or noise - transformed into something bigger than a 4-piece rock band. Aah...the power of music.

So I think I shall also be posting some poetry.
